Reports To: President and Regional Sales Director
Primary telemarketing responsibilities would be:
Contacting sales leads through phone solicitation and sales literature distribution.
Brief Description of job: The Telemarketing Representative (TMR) will play an integral role in the overall welfare of the company. The TMR will compliment the outside Sales force by generating additional leads for Car-Tel Communications, Master/Premier Agent for AT&T Wireless. This goal is achieved by searching out prospects, calling to inquire about companies, creating and mailing sales information, and general customer courtesy calls.
This is a newly created position and required tasks may change as position develops. Therefore, the new TMR must be flexible in terms of changing duties.
Schedule - Employee is expected to work 4 hour shifts, 5 days per week.
Duties/Description - During Normal Work Day
1. TMR is required to arrive for work on time every day.
2. TMR is positioned at a defined location in the office and will be expected to keep area clean and organized for proper workflow throughout the day.
3. The TMR will interact daily with the Regional Sales Director.
4. The TMR will be required to follow established procedures to ensure all prospects receive the best representation of Car-Tel Communications and AT&T Wireless.
5. TMR will identify new customers through cold calling, telemarketing, referrals, and business networking.
6. Courtesy calls to customers must be made on a daily basis to existing customers.
7. Some data entry is required. TMR must log in the computer and record contract information collected from prospective customers for future follow-up using Microsoft Outlook or ACT.
8. Occasionally, special promotion campaigns may be created for customer generation and/or retention and TMR will be directly involved in making follow-up calls as is related to said promotions.
9. TMR will make calls to customers and prospects informing them of Car-Tel Communications participation at various Trade-Show events.
10. The TMR will participate in weekly and monthly sales meetings.

*Account Executive will service accounts regarding billing issues, equipment upgrades, and service related issues.
*Participate in weekly and monthly sales meetings.
Essential Skills:
*Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
*Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment with frequent transitions in products, service and pricing.
